Blunt wore a Schiaparelli Haute Couture bustier crafted with 25,000 silk-thread feathers, gold metal eyelets at the back and an ivory tulle skirt — reportedly about 4,000 hours of embroidery went into the look. She paired it with a Mikimoto necklace and matching pearl-and-gold bracelets, plus gold heels; her hair was in a high bun and a dark burgundy lip matched her manicure by Julie Kandalec.

Red was the mood

Red tones dominated the evening: Anne Hathaway appeared in a Louis Vuitton strapless gown while Streep chose a vermillion Givenchy cap gown with black leather gloves and pointed-toe shoes. Blunt, who reprises Emily Charlton two decades after the original film, said returning to the Runway world carried “deep emotional roots” and admitted the heels were a rude awakening for the cast.
